5 Year Anniversary

When I founded MediCalm-PA, in June 2019, I never expected to experience so much joy and satisfaction from hearing returning patients talk about how much better they feel since using cannabis. With over 25 years of experience as a primary care doctor, I can honestly say that I've never seen a medication as transformative and versatile as cannabis. It's important to note that the best effects of cannabis come from using products from the whole plant. Unfortunately, most certified individuals are not educated about the endocannabinoid system and how to safely use cannabis, which can result in under-treated conditions and adverse effects. 

At MediCalm, we aim to simplify the process while maximizing the benefits. Our office manager, Rhonda, helps put patients at ease and guides them through the certification steps. During patient consultations, I draw on my extensive experience as a primary care physician to listen to their concerns and answer any questions they have about cannabis options. 

For over 50 years, marijuana has been classified by the DEA as a Schedule I substance, effectively hindering much-needed cannabis research. Through our work at MediCalm, with over 8000 certifications in 5 years, we have gained significant knowledge from patient feedback. While this doesn't replace federally funded research, we believe our approach and experience are helping to bridge the "Cannabis Knowledge Void". We are also grateful for the thousands of 5-star reviews validating the MediCalm approach. 

We are thrilled to announce the launch of MediCalm-NJ this month, bringing our much-needed services to New Jersey! All certifications will be conducted by telephone, and we are committed to providing much more than just a quick certification.
